Finally a Lost Tooth

 It finally happened.....Carly is now a big kid!!  On Christmas Eve, Carly was playing with Kaitlyn and she told her it looked like her tooth was gone.  Sure enough, the girl had swallowed her first tooth!  She was pretty upset, but luckily it was Christmas Eve and she had alot of other fun stuff on her mind.  We made one out of paper for her to leave out for the Tooth Fairy.  She was pleased with that.  I was so sad my baby has crossed over into the big kid world.  I don't want them to grow up!  You can't even tell she lost a tooth, because her permanent one was right there already.  It was pretty exciting!

 Our families are very big snugglers.  We love to capture a child and relax.  Channing really loved her Uncle Kris's lap.

Christmas Week

The week of Christmas was so much fun.  Kris, Gina, Connor, and Kaitlyn came and stayed with us for the week.  

 I love a full table with lots of smiles and full bellies!

 Finley helped supervise Uncle Kris while he got the gingerbread houses ready for construction!

 Oh yes, we cheated and hot glued the walls together!

 The girls made Cinderella's castle.  They loved putting on all the jewels.  

The boys had the Home Depot kit.  Where is the other boy you ask?  Well, he wasn't into the gingerbread thing, so he was up making comfortable beds for his girl Cha Cha.  But Harper was very serious about the construction and did a fabulous job!

Christmas Around the World

 I had the opportunity to take the kids to JAARS for Christmas around the world.  JAARS is a place where they work on translating the Bible into different languages and go all over the world, reaching those people with the Word of God in their heart language.  It is a really cool place and was so glad we go to go see what they are all about!  Look them up!  Really cool:  https://www.jaars.org/ We traveled in a simulated plane ride to 4 countries:  Burkino Faso, Australia, Pakistan, and Tanzania.  They got to eat food from each country and the people that were in charge of each site have all lived in each country so they had a lot of great information to tell us.

 They had the kids act out the nativity scene too.  Do you see my angels and Shepard?

Christmas picture

 And here they are for this year's Christmas picture by the tree.  They are all getting so big so fast!

And this is Emma too.  She had spent the night (this picture was taken a week before Christmas) and this was the first friend they had spend the night with them.  They were so excited to have their super cool 10 year old friend with them (well, more like a sister :)  Oh yes, I was a little sentimental at the thought that they are growing up and are having friends spend the night now!!  KLEENEX!!

Christmas Concert

I really have not forgotten about my blog!!  I just could not post pictures for a while and we figured out that I have to do it on google crome now, so problem has been solved!!  I just couldn't possibly post without pictures!!  So, after our flu funness, the kids were in the church choir concert.  They love performing, which is kind of strange because they are so shy, but I am glad they love it! 

 They actually had a trio this year!  I was so proud of them for singing all by themselves!  They sang "Away in a Manger" - by far the best version I have ever heard!

And they were all smiles after the concert.  It was great to see their smiling faces again after they were all so sick!!
