Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving day we went to the Riffle's house and had lunch with them. Kay's Mom and 2 brothers came as well.

This was the first year we had Thanksgiving at our house. It was so nice to have dinner with my family all in one spot. We had the nice adult table (minus Matt - he was in charge of the kids table) and we all got to sit and eat and talk - which doesn't usually happen with 9 kids all running around. And I am sad to type that this is the only picture I have of Channing on her first Thanksgiving - yes, that is her way in the back corner :(

And then the kid table! They all had to sit at the table for 30 minutes. They had activities to do so they wouldn't get bored and then once all the adults were done eating, they cleaned the tables and the floors. It was great!! It is getting nice now that they are all getting a little bigger and can help out!

Connor had to have a drumstick and he did a great job polishing it off!

Kris, Gina, Connor, and Kaitlyn spent the night after our Thanksgiving meal (which was actually on the day before) so that they could go to Gina's family on Thanksgiving day. My kids absolutely love their cousins!
